Workpackage CoordinatorDeveloping capacities in the field of humanization of pediatric care in the treatment of pain
Work Package 4 will organise several training modules in which participants from non-European partners will acquire skills in the field of paediatric care and then disseminate these skills in their places of origin.
Training module 1 will address the psychological and physiological aspects associated with the management of paediatric pain.
Training module 2 will address paediatric pain in the healthcare setting (hospital/community).
Finally, training module 3 will apply family coping strategies to the perception and response to pain in paediatric patients.
This Work Package is associated with the following specific project objectives:
Generate applied knowledge on the humanization of pediatric pain care between institutions in Africa, America and Europe, with the support of the technological resources developed in this project.
Apply the skills acquired in training in pediatric pain care to develop new content, as well as disseminate it at all possible academic and non-academic levels.
